Photographic Journey:
- 1070 first SLR Minolta SR7 and SR1 with 55mm 1.8 and 200 mm 5.6 used equipment
- 1972 first wild life image at Betla (Palamau)of an Indian gaur and first pictorial image
- 1975 Founder secretary of Photographic Association of Bihar (PhAB)
- 1976 first national salon acceptance at PAB, Calcutta on a TP
- 1977 Joined FIP as LM
- 1978-1988 sabbatical from Photography for 10 years while on a study tour abroad
- 1988 – 89 Took over as president of PhAB and started salon participation seriously
- 1994 First International acceptance
- 1999 Became secretary for FIP salon recognitions
- 2002 Vice President followed by Acting President of FIP
- 2003 Best Indian participant for 3 years on a run.
- Organised IIPC annual conference at Patna
- AFIAP, ARPS
- 2004 Elected President of FIP and received AIIPC
- Hon FIP
- 2006 2nd term as President of FIP and organised FIP convention at Patna
- Received EFIAP
- 2008 - 8th International ranking in PSA Nature who’s who
- 2010 Elected as President FIP
- 2010 Awarded the coveted MFIAP for my series on Cheetah
- 2011 while President, appointed as acting Hony secretary of FIP following the sad demise of Mr Benu Sen
- 2012 - Till date elected as Hony Secretary General of FIP unanimously
- 2016 Awarded ESFIAP at FIAP world congress at Seoul
- 2020 1st recipient of MFIP (Nature)
Started the culture of workshops in FIP at affordable prices. FIP has so far conducted 50 national as well as 6 international workshops in the last 6 years alone.
Photographer of the year and Youth Photographer of the year awards are running smoothly under the banner of FIP
Since 2014 FIP is conducting National as well as International Digital Circuits/Salons and Print salon as well
Over 1000 photo artists of India have successfully achieved National or International distinctions in the last 4 years alone. Un parallel feat anywhere in the world.
Under his dynamic leadership FIP achieved many significant milestones. Few are mentioned below:
- FIP conducts maximum number of Salons with FIAP Patronage in the world.
- All women Jury panels for Salons ware initiated by FIP with unprecedented success.
- FIP hosted two FIAP nature world cups in India 2010 and 2014
- FIP published Blue Sapphire which became a landmark success story
