Promoting Creative and Social Photography
Needless to mention that mobile phones have made almost everyone a photographer today and the ease of picture taking and sharing instantly has made it so popular all over the world that every second, millions of pictures are uploaded in social media. But the fact remains that good photographs are still very few. The authors of these few good photographs acknowledge the contribution of some masters and organizations without whom they would not have achieved the horizon where they are today. This is true for any form of art.

About Our Founders
Bijay Kumar Agrawal
Bijay Kumar Agrawal is a renowned professional portrait, fashion and glamour photographer having active professional experience of over 40 years.
Born on 15th Feb.1955 at Bolangir, Orissa in a business family, he started photography with a Kodak box camera at the age of twelve. Clicking the pics of his five sisters and their friends, he developed interest in portrait photography.
To expand the family business, he moved to Visakhapatnam in 1981 and started business of automobile tyres. Continuing his interest in photography, he joined Coromandel Camera Club and participated in All India Photography Exhibition in 1983. Two awards and one certificate of merit in the first exhibition itself, started his journey in the world of creative photography. In 1994, he moved full time into the profession of photography and setup his own studio in the name of Agrawals Images in Visakhapatnam.
Over 100 awards and certificates out of 840 pictures exhibited in different national and international salons, he has received many coveted honors in the world of photography. These include FIIPC, ESFIP, FAPA, FSAP. A judge in many national and international photographic salons, beauty pageants and faculty in photography workshops are his regular invited assignments.
He was a key member in reviving Visakha Camera Club in 1990 and conducted two national and three international photography exhibitions. His rich practical experience in the world of photography and strong interest in promoting creative photography in young generation initiated him to be part of Chhayankan Founders team.
Amitabh Agrawal
Amitabh Agrawal is a renowned trainer and educationist in the fields of IT, management and entrepreneurship development with more than 30 years of professional work experience. He has trained more than 10000 students and contributed to academic systems as expert in curriculum and training methodology designs. He is a passionate photographer and travel enthusiast.
Born on August 15, 1960 in Varanasi, he is a graduate of Management from Banaras Hindu University. Completing his MBA (Finance) in 1984, he developed interest in emerging field of computers and coded a program in FORTRAN77 for statistical functions. His interest in academics and flair for emerging technology, did not allow him to go for a corporate job. Starting his career as a professional management consultant, he moved to IT education under franchise from NIIT in 1988. In a very short span of time, his training center earned high reputation in the region and became one of the best centers nationally.
He got early lessons of photography on a box camera from his father who was an accomplished and renowned photographer in 1950's era. He continued his interest in photography along with busy professional routines and post 2015, he got into serious photography.
His commendable organizational capabilities, flair to do something new and unique, rich experience in training and strong inclination for social and community upliftment initiated him to be part of founders team of Chhayankan.
